Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of February…LeAnn

LeAnn has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for 6 months! She is originally from Niagara and currently lives in Aurora with her family and pets. LeAnn’s favorite food is anything homemade, she has too many favorite movies to name one, and her favorite music is country and classic rock! A fun fact about LeAnn is that she is a creative person, and you’ll sometimes find her singing. Outside of work, LeAnn spends her time hanging out with family and friends.

LeAnn’s favorite part about being a caregiver is giving people someone to talk to and just being there for them because life goes by so fast, and too many people don’t stop to listen to others. When asked about what caregiving means to her LeAnn replied, “Caregiving to means providing care to those that need help, whether it’s listening to them, crying with them, lending a hand, and being a friend.” LeAnn’s advice to new caregivers is it’s not always easy, but you have to remember you are there for them, they are not there for you. LeAnn’s favorite memory is seeing her clients make improvements no matter how small it is.
