Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of September… Karen!

Karen has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for almost 3 years! She is originally from Osseo, Wisconsin, and currently lives in Norway, Michigan. Her favorite foods are anything with chicken or fish. She enjoys listening to classic rock music, and her favorite movie is “Search For Red October”. A fun fact about Karen is that she loves Scottland, and she has visited 4 times. Outside of work, Karen likes to spend time with her friends and go on local trips.

Karen’s favorite part about being a caregiver is the relationships that she has developed with clients and their families. When asked what caregiving means to her, Karen replied “…There is just something right about being a senior myself and taking care of the same generation.” Her advice to new caregivers is to see the joy that you bring your clients, know that you are there to serve them.
